My name is Brigitte van Rijn-Duiveman.
I’ve lived, worked and studied in Greece for a big part of my life. My passion for this country, the love for its habitants and their language and culture have sculpt me for an important part to who I’m today.
To me, being in Greece, feels like ‘coming home.’ It causes me to be the best possible version of myself.
My extensive working experience as an entrepreneur in organisational and service industries, but also ‘mere chance’ caused me to establish ‘De Griekse bruiloft’ in 2006.
An obvious choice due to the fact that ‘love and Greece’ are inextricably linked to each other for me!
The fact that I live in the Netherlands during the largest part of the year, offers couples from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany the opportunity to meet me in person in a homely atmosphere, something which I consider very valuable. Needless to say that I offer Skype sessions as well, should the distance be too big to visit me in person.
As a result of one or more personal conversations I can get a clear overall picture of your personalities and your personal wishes with respect to your dream wedding.
I’ve built up a vast network of professional suppliers of products and services in 13 years of wedding planning in Greece. The result of this is a flawless cooperation and great teamwork with only one common target: to create the dream wedding you have always dreamt of!
The combination of my specialism in all Greek islands, my knowledge of the Greek language and culture and an unbridled passion for this work, gives me the means to organise a carefree, relaxed and unforgettable wedding day.
Apart from wedding planner and executive master in wedding management, you can hire me as a ceremony speaker for a commitment ceremony as well.
‘De Griekse bruiloft’ is all about me, but even more so about the couples that have yet allowed me the opportunity to help them to create their dream weddings and were willing to write about their experiences in words and placed photos on my website.
I would like to thank them sincerely! Efxaristo poli!
